Checkpoints Driver Safety Training

This course is required for all student drivers that wish to park on campus this school year. The student must have a driver's license to park on campus. If you have completed a Checkpoints Course in the past, you are set, you are not required to take it again.

The student and a parent must be part of the same session at the same location. The training course usually takes about one hour. The sign-up form will close 24 hours before the scheduled session. Please only sign-up once for the session you wish to attend (only complete the form one time for the same student). If you are not able to attend the session you signed up for, please contact Elvia Klym to cancel, another student might be able to use the spot. Please only use the student’s WCS myplace email.

Next Steps:

The student should sign-up for the session via the Google Form for the date they wish to attend.
Enter the student’s WCS myplace email address on the form.
12 hours before the training, the student will need to check their WCS email for the Zoom invitation and documents.
A parent and the student will take a 5-minute pre-test and print two documents before the Zoom session.
The student must use their WCS myplace email to join the Zoom session.
Log in to the Zoom call 5 minutes before the start time.
Students may attend training sessions at other WCS schools to receive credit. See the specific school's website.

NEW!!! What To Do In Case of Inclement Weather

As temperatures drop and winter weather begins appearing in forecasts, WCS wants to ensure that all families are informed about the inclement weather protocol.

Should the district and schools need to close, families and staff will receive a phone call, text message and email using the contact information on file. In addition, the information will be posted on the WCS website, the WCS mobile app, the district’s social media channels and through traditional news media outlets. The district aims to reach out by 9 p.m. if schools will be canceled the next day, but that may not always be possible.

Tennessee Promise Information

Tennessee Promise is a last-dollar scholarship that funds any remaining tuition and mandatory fees at a public two-year institution or TN College of Applied Technology once Pell, TELS, TSAA have all been applied.

To be eligible for the TN Promise you must first apply by November 1st, 2024 and attend the Mandatory TN Promise Meeting.

Student Parking Pass Information

STUDENT PARKING PASSES ARE REQUIRED ON CAMPUS

All vehicles on campus are required to have a parking pass visible at all times. Vehicles without a pass are subject to being towed.

Prior to purchasing a parking pass, each student (with one parent) is required to complete a Checkpoints Class (See Checkpoints information above).

How to Order a Transcript

Online Requests

If any former or current students needs to send their transcript directly to a college or university, they may request it be sent online through the Order a Transcript website. Simply follow the steps:

Select the “Start” button.
Select Nolensville High School, Nolensville, TN as the sending institution.
Follow the instructions to enter student identifying information.
Make sure to select “End of Term" under "Urgency".
Select the receiving institution. If you haven’t made a final decision yet, you may select multiple schools.
Review your transcript order.
Enter your customer information. The email address you provide will be used to provide tracking information on your transcript order.
Submit your order.
Make a note of the tracking number(s) to check on your transcript request and verify when the receiving institution receives the transcript. Keep in mind, it still may take the receiving institution a week or two to accept and process your transcript. Please note:

Your grades will not be finalized until the first week of June.
Test scores are not included with transcripts. Test scores must be sent from the testing agency (ACT/ SAT).

Requests for a Paper Copy of your Transcript

If you need a paper copy of your academic transcript for a scholarship, the military, sports or to be sent to a college or university, follow these steps:

Print and complete the NHS Transcript Request Form. Make sure to include the address of the recipient.
Mail or drop off your request to the NHS Counseling Department. You may enclose the $2.00 processing fee or pay for your transcript on the SchoolCashOnline portal.
Please allow 3-5 business days for your request to be processed.

Duplicate Diplomas

If you need a replacement high school diploma, you must complete the official request for a duplicate diploma from the state of Tennessee.
