NHS Spring Athletics
Spring athletic teams begin practice during early spring. The spring athletic seasons run from early March through May.
Baseball
Tryouts for the 2025-2026 season are at the end of May.
For rising 9th graders:
Tryout Day 1: Tuesday, May 27th, 9:00-11:00 AM
Tryout Day 2: Thursday, May 29th, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
For rising 10th graders, 11th & 12th graders (not on the NHS baseball team in 2024):
Tryout Day 1: Wednesday, May 28th, 9:00-11:00 AM
Tryout Day 2: Thursday, May 29th, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
For returners that were on the NHS baseball team in 2025, Tryout: Wednesday, May 28th, 9:00-11:00 AM
*If your son makes the team, there is a mandatory player/parent meeting: Thursday, May 29th at 7:00 PM

Boys Lacrosse
NHS Boys Lacrosse
Nolensville High School Boys Lacrosse team were state champions in 2023 and runners up in 2024. We look to continue to pursue excellence while fostering a love of the game. 2024-2025 is our first year as a TSSAA sport and we look forward to adding another state championship to our list of accomplishments.
Expectations
Players are expected to maintain a passing grade in classes and be good ambassadors of our team by behaving in and outside of Nolensville High School. We have Fall practices starting in September. Regular season practices start in February. We expect players to attend all regular season practices and games during the regular season.
Tryouts
We have a Varsity and JV team, so players can be assessed at the Fall practice and early Spring practices for placement on either team.

Softball
NHS Softball
We, the coaches and players of this program, will make the best effort to become the best we are capable of becoming both on and off the field. We will use our sport to teach student athletes to compete athletically at the highest level, to achieve academic success, to develop into young ladies of character and respect, to be outstanding citizens, to be leaders of the school and to develop a family environment within our team, the school and the community.
Expectations
Softball players are expected to be at every scheduled season practice and game. Regular season activities begin in mid-February and can go through the end of May. After the regular season, we run a 3-day summer softball camp, typically the first or second week of June. Off season activities begin the second week of July with open facilities and workouts that run through the end of the 1st Quarter. During the 2nd Quarter, we transition to a weightlifting and conditioning program which continues until the start of the regular season.
Tryouts
Open practices/tryouts will be held July 8-10. 15-17 and 22-24, 2025.

Tennis
Tryouts for the 2025-2026 season will be October 1-2, 2025, 3:00-5:00PM, NHS Tennis Courts

Track
NHS Track and Field
Nolensville Track and Field is open to athletes of all levels willing to dedicate themselves to self-improvement, both on and off the track. We are a community committed to competitive growth and support of each other. We will work to uphold strong character and represent the Nolensville community and school to the very best of our ability.
Expectations
Beginning January 9th, 2024, we will begin conditioning every Tues, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3-4:30. Athletes are expected to attend as much as possible if not involved in another sport. The official first day of practice is February 12th 2024 and practice becomes mandatory Monday-Friday. If you are going to miss practice, you are expected to communicate this with all of your track and field coaches.
