Get Involved in an Extracurricular Activity

The Art Club is a place for practicing artists to hone in on their skills, develop their techniques and portfolios, collaborate with other artists like themselves, create bonds with the community through the arts, and learn how to work together through group projects that will beautify the school and community.

All students enrolled in Culinary Arts classes have the opportunity to try out for the Culinary Competition Team to compete at the Tennessee ProStart Invitational. If selected, they can choose to compete in one of two divisions, Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts.

An association of marketing students that encourages the development of business and leadership skills through academic conferences and competitions.

Competitive, organized video gaming competition for Williamson County High Schools for scholarship opportunities and to increase interest in computing/gaming career fields.

Health related community service such as blood drives, making cards for nursing homes, Pennies for Patients, etc. as well as the opportunity for students to compete in academic and skills related competitions related to health care knowledge and skills.  There are conference with competitive events at the regional, state and international level.

International honor society for students who excel in all areas of theatre arts including performing and technical areas.

To prepare for and compete in the AMC math test. AMC stands for American mathematics competitions.

Club Fee:  $12

for students to learn about real world operation of the United Nations by participating in a reenactment of the organization's activities. Students form delegations and represent member countries' interest in the General Assembly by drafting and debating resolutions. Other students represent their countries on the Security Council or Secretariat, to participate in a model International Court of Justice, or to serve in the Department of Public Information.

To recognize students for their accomplishments in the field of Mathematics and encourage opportunities for growth within the field. We have personally set the goal to try to serve our school/community and support learning through tutoring and other service opportunities.

The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is designed to inspire and recognize students in visual art. The NAHS strives to aid members in attaining the highest standards in art scholarship, character, and service, and to bring art education to the attention of the school and community.

The NHS Speech and Debate Team competes regionally in speech and debate competitions. The team meets Wednesdays and Fridays during Flex Time in Ms. Farrell's room with after school practices as needed. District competition occurs in late March and, if a student qualifies, the state tournament is in April.

Fee:  There is a $160 plus processing fee to cover membership fees, competition fees, and the purchase of resources. 

Provide a democratic form in which students can address those school-related issues that affect their lives.  Maintain a continuous communication channel from students to faculty members and administrators as well as among the students within the school.  Offer a yearlong program of social functions and community involvement projects for students Provide leadership training for students in the duties and responsibilities of good citizenship, using the school environment as the primary training ground.

A Tri-M Music Honor Society chapter opens up a world of opportunities for students who have already shown themselves to be academically capable and musically gifted. Through performance and community service, they’ll develop confidence, creativity, critical thinking, compassion, and a host of other leadership skills sure to serve them well in school and beyond.

Club Fee: $20 for seniors, including the graduation cord. $5 for other grades.   

Youth in Government is an annual conference designed to offer high school students a hands-on experience with state government. Students from across the state converge on the State Capitol, taking the places of our real government officials. Program participants can serve as senators or representatives, as justices and lawyers, as department commissioners and lobbyists, or even as press corps members.
